SharedRides is a carpool coordination service that helps groups organize driving responsibilities, availability, schedules and related group information.

We may process information such as your name, email address, group membership, availability, leave dates, driving assignments, application settings and subscription status.
3. Google Calendar
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, SharedRides uses the authorization you provide to synchronize relevant SharedRides driving assignments with your calendar. Google Calendar access is optional and requires your consent.
4. Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. SharedRides does not store your full payment card details. Payment and billing information is processed by Stripe according to its own privacy and security practices.
5. How we use information
Information is used to provide and maintain SharedRides, generate schedules, coordinate group members, provide requested calendar synchronization, manage subscriptions, secure accounts and improve the service.
6. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate SharedRides, including hosting, database, authentication, payment and calendar integration providers.
7. Group information
Certain information, including availability and driving-related information, may be visible to other members of the SharedRides group you join.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet applicable legal or operational requirements. Users may delete their account using the account deletion functionality provided in SharedRides.
