1. About SharedRides
SharedRides is a digital coordination platform designed to help groups organize shared driving responsibilities, availability, schedules and related information.
2. Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and use SharedRides only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. User responsibility
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the availability, schedules and other information they submit. SharedRides assists with coordination but does not guarantee that a user will complete an assigned journey.
4. Driving and transport
SharedRides is a coordination platform and is not a transport operator, taxi service, vehicle owner, employer or insurance provider. Drivers remain responsible for complying with applicable laws, licensing requirements, vehicle requirements and insurance obligations.
5. Group management
Group owners may manage membership, schedules, availability settings and other group controls. Members are responsible for reviewing the information displayed in their group and reporting inaccurate information when necessary.
6. SharedRides Plus
Groups of up to two members may use the available free features. Groups requiring three or more members may require an active SharedRides Plus subscription.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis according to the price displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription owners may manage billing and cancellation through the billing portal provided in SharedRides.
8. Cancellation
A subscription may be cancelled using the available billing management tools. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
9. Google Calendar
Google Calendar synchronization is optional. Users who connect their Google account authorize SharedRides to perform the calendar actions described during the Google authorization process.
10. Availability
SharedRides aims to provide reliable access but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party services or technical issues.
11. Prohibited use
Users must not misuse SharedRides, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, submit malicious content or use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
12. Account termination
Users may delete their own account through SharedRides. Access may also be restricted or terminated where necessary to protect the platform, other users or comply with applicable requirements.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SharedRides is not responsible for losses, accidents, disputes, missed journeys, personal conduct, vehicle-related issues or other events arising from arrangements between users.
14. Changes to the service
SharedRides may modify, improve or discontinue features as the service develops. These Terms may also be updated when necessary.
